abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz. there you go. learn the song. some times i have to sing it in my head to help me remember it. it may be harder for you to learn it than it will be for say a five year old because you should have learned it whenyou where young.(or atleast remember it.) but as far as your bf goes you just need to find other ways to show that you are smart.

I don't understand how you can spell then, or read any of the responses that we write here on Yahoo Answers.

But lets say its for a friend or you're actually serious that you don't know the alphabet then you must learn.

I mean, if you can't read how will you ever learn to think objectively (you'll base all your opinions on what others say like a mindless drone - and we don't need more of this in the world).

Go read, learn. Do you want your kids to grow up not knowing the alphabet, going to university, having a better future (more education can = more opportunities)?

You may also enjoy reading and who knows maybe go back to school, get a better education and then get better jobs.

Don't worry about it too much, I can't say the alphabet all the way through and I'm 38. Got 'A" grades in both English Lit & Lan which I passed first time so there. I know plenty of people that can probably recite the alphabet forward and backwards but are still as thick as two short planks....

You do know it - you may not be able sing the song or recite it in order but the alphabet is just the collection of 26 letters we use for written communication.

Maybe you have a memory problem as you're clearly not illiterate.

You don't know the alphabet but you can spell well enough to ask your question. Sounds a bit screwy. What will you do when your children ask you to recite the alphabet with them? It is strange that you do not know it at your age.

!!! You need to know your alphabet it's vital! Any child would know it! Most people do know it! It helps with things like spellings and stuff, if u know all the letters yeah okay that's fine but you really need to know the alphabet. It's not that hard to learn. So try and learn it.

Are you kidding? If you don't know your alphabet, how the hell did you type your question up? You need to learn the alphabet quickly if you're not lying, because you'll fail life if you don't know how to spell.
