Ok here is the deal I just started a new diet, and I am on 1000 calorie diet. I am so hungry like all day that it is driving me crazy. I drink so much water that I have to use the bathroom like every 30 minutes. I keep saying to my self it will all pass but I dont think it will I only need to lose 25 pounds. My friend told me that it is all in my head that my body is going thur withdrawl and will get use to not having all the food I used to eat before. But I really dont know what to do.

My mother went on that diet and lost about 50 pounds. But you DO need food. If you're hungry, get a whole bunch of celery. Celery actually has -negative- calories. It takes more calories to EAT celery than it contains. And get some low fat, low calorie dipping sauce or something to go along with it. Veggies are always good for low-cal diets.

smaller meals more often will speed up your metabolism and help you lose weight. Calorie cutting and starving yourself are not the answer- EXERCISE!!! Go jogging, chase your kid brother around, take the dog for a run, walk to the store instead of driving. If you put your body into starvation mose you are more likely to put ON weight because your body will store the calories knowing it may be awhile before it gets another meal. If you are concerned about over eating- try portion control... if you are still hungry in between meals- munch on celery or lettuce. Cut back on the salt because it makes you retain water- and makes you look fatter than you are- But my guess is you are perfect just the way you are.

You need to eat more calories. Your body is going to go into starvation mode and conserve all of the calories you eat. This is not a healthy way to lose weight. Eat at least 1500 cals a day. You WILL lose weight, only you will be more likely to keep the weight off ans it'll be easier to keep up with your diet if you aren't starving.

Choose your calories carefully if your only eating 1000 ,you can have a cookie for 200 calories or a 6 egg white and veggie omelet for the same calories ,one you'll be full for a few hours the other you'll still be hungry ,besides 1000 calories is not enough for anyone unless your 100lbs. Watch the carbs you eat after 5pm and you'll be fine.Good luck

Hey get something nice and healthy to eat and exercise! It is all about how you move your body! Diets are just a part of it. Keep it up on the water and also get rid of the junk food. But most of all EXERCISE!!!

Hey, it took me years and years to realize this, but you need to stop dieting and listen to your body. Listen to your body! If you are hungry, you need to think about what you want to eat. Whatever it is, enjoy it. Sit down and enjoy it. Chew each bite. Think about how great it tastes. Be thankful for the abundance that is yours. When you feel full, stop eating. Next time you are hungry, eating again. Take good care of yourself!

you don''t need to go on a calorie diet, just eat healthy, wholesome foods when you are hungry. This will supply your body with all the nutrients it needs, your cravings will disappear and you will be much healthier.

at 1000 calories you are literally starving yourself. you need to eat to lose fat. at this rate you WILL lose weight, but none of it will be fat. and when you get off this diet (which you will have to do if you are planning on surviving to enjoy your weight loss) all of the weight you gain back will be fat. The earlier you stop the easier it will be to get this under control and stop burning your muscle.

Try something that has a low calorie stamp on it. For example oats are one good low calorie food.
