i want to make sure that it really runs smoothly and no problems whatsoever that i will encounter later like i don't like it to suddenly stops to the freeway or some sort of things like these......

If it's been maintained properly, 130,000 isn't all that bad.

The only way to get any assurance that the car is in reasonable condition is to have it inspected by an independent mechanic. That will probably cost you $100.00 or so but it's cheap insurance in the long run.

You should also back that up with a CarFax report and a maintenance and recall history check from a dealer that sells that make.

I've had a number of vehicles than went well past 250,000 miles with few problems; it's all down to proper care.

Before you buy it, take it to a mechanic you trust and have them run a full diognostic on it. Check for fluid leaks, compression, the tranny and everything else. Some cars will run great forever as long as they are taken care of, some won't make it around the block no matter what you do.

take it to a mechanic and have them check it on a scope also ask the owner how often was the oil changed and did they do regular maintainece check the fluids too. Good luck

depends on what year and what kind of vehicle, 100k plus miles
not uncommon anymore, and can still last many more miles
a good service record, is always helpful when choosing a used high milage car
