you shouldnt force yourself to stay awake to study, you should sleep when you are tired as sleep keep sthe mind active and helps to retain information, study in short time periods.

Get a good night's sleep the night before. If you find your head nodding while you're studying, take 10-15 minutes for a power nap.

Drink plenty of water, and eat lots of fruit (dried and fresh) and nuts.

Don't go out drinking if you know you've got a long stint of studying ahead.

Stay away from chocolate & those energy drinks - all they do is give you a quick sugar hit which will equally quickly dissipate leaving you feeling even worse than before.

Try soda or tea. Then there is always the energy drinks, I am bouncing off the walls when I drink those.

Exercise can also help keep a person awake, but if you can stay awake at all. Take a quick 20-45 minute power nap, that helps me too.

Sleep. I know that you think you need the time to study, but if you're tired, your studies won't be very efficient and it'll take longer to learn the same material. So you probably won't be actually saving yourself any time. If you at least take a nap, you'll be refreshed and I think you'll do a lot better. Also, when you're taking your final, if you've slept, your mind will be sharper and you'll be able to remember the information better.

Especially if your exam is a practical exam or anything where you have to use procedural knowledge, sleep will help the information you're learning to get from your short-term memory into your long-term memory and do better on your exam.

A good way to stay awake is to eat proteins. Carbohydrates will make you sleepy, so will warm milk. So lay off of the pizza and have a plate of sausage and scrambles eggs.

Nothing. I wouldnt suggest cramming caffeine, or taking anything actually. Just exercise regularly, and keep your body in good shape, and focus on organic food. That is the only healthy way to keep your self awake.

Cold water on the face, and stand up. Your best bet would have been to get plenty of sleep the previous night, but it looks like its too late for that.

red bull, mt dew, caffeine pills, exercise...youd be suprised but exercise helps keep the blood flowing, drink cold water, this forces your body to warm it up to process it, also keeping you active.
