I am wanting a cocker spaniel for chrismas and I got a good idea that my mom is going to get one. It would be a male buff and white and I am trying to find a name for him. Any suggestions?

i have one with that coloring, omg hes the cutest thing on the planet, 4 years old and still a big puppy. Name is buddy, suits him great, but you have to find what comes to your mind when you look at him. Be prepared for a lot of silliness, and possible seperation anxiety. Cockers have that one problem. Also they are prone to ear infections, the store bought stuff doesnt work well, also they eat sooooo much, if you let them they will eat themselves to death. So be carefull, good luck and enjoy your new baby :)

Sometimes it will take me several weeks to come up with a name that fits. I watch the play and antics and let it's little personality show me. Sometimes I have spelled something backwards, like: Drazil for an Igana cause he was a lizard.

Just watch and wait and a name will soon appear without searching and worrying about it.

I permit 'black American' bounce around my head for a 2d or 2, got here up with: Luther - After Martin Luther King. Murphy - After Eddie Murphy. Jesse - After the Rev. Jesse Jackson. See the place i decide for this? Even Barak once you know who isn't a foul call.

I have found that it is hard to name a dog until you see them and it also depends on your personality. But some good names are
1. Little brother
2. Sam
3. Sandy
You can become more creative and give him initials or a word that just fits him. For instance JJ, TK, or words like brave, swirl, wiggles. Hope this gives you some help.
