Has anyone in the US ever been prosecuted for buying Ultram Online?

I am on Ultram and I lost some pills. I am considering buying some from one of those non-US pharmacies with a questionaire. I admittedly am hooked on Ultram and if I were to quit suddenly, would be really unhappy. I want to know if I can do this and the worst thing that would happen is my pills wouldnt show up or I may have to cancel the credit card or will I end up in a maximum security PMITA (see Office Space) prison with a large African American man in a pink tutu as a cell mate

It is illegal to buy prescription drugs from foreign countries. However, the federal government does not enforce it if you have less than a three month supply. Prescription drug importation, according to a year 2000 law, is only legal if the secretary of Health and Human Services gives approval. No Secretary has exercised this option. More than likely because of the risk of counterfeit drugs.
If you get it without a prescription, the drug is illegal. You'll have a controlled substance without a prescription. Prescription only drugs are only legal with a prescription. Again, the government does not actively seek those kinds of infraction. They are looking more at heroin, meth, etc.
You need to talk with someone about your drug dependence issue.

I don't think it's right to tell people what to do in someone elses country. I disagree with the person up top. I think it's great that you are asking these questions. Most people don't want to deal with it, but these things need to be addressed. Good for you! I do make some exceptions to my first statement though: If you are representing USA in some way, then your actions can and should be reasonable representations of US. I wouldn't want our president to go to Cambodia and buy an 8 year old girls services. Nore would I want him to go to Amsterdam and smoke a duby. Why? Because US policy is against both of those things. Because we spend billions of American dollars, and hours, telling the world that we are against those things. If our president goes there, he is a representation of USA, and everything we stand for. So he'd better not tell the world that Americans are hypocrites, stoners, and child abusers. If Joe McWhoever wants to go to Amsterdam and get f*cked on the top ten "legal-only-in-Amsterdam" drugs, that's his business. ...So long as he doesn't do something incredibly stupid, that makes him a publicly known American figure. Because that -again- would make him a representation of our country.

Sorry, I have never tried to purchase Ultram online. I do not like the way it makes me feel, and as far as a pain reliever, it's lousy.
There is no law that I am aware of that makes this way of purchasing illegal at this time.

There are companies in the usa who follow rules and regulations that are there for pharmacy type businesses online.

There is nothing wrong with moving schedule 3,4, and 5 drugs as long as you are doing it with in the laws of the state you are prescribing and fufilling from.

It is the people whom import drugs illegal (From india, costa rica) and either just straight drop ship overseas into the USA or ship in bulk into the usa and then break up the packages and re-distribute them. THAT is illegal.

If you require medical records, doctor consultation over the phone, and follow all the applicable laws of the state you are licensed in you can legaly move schedule 3,4, and 5 drugs.

It is not illegal to buy ultram online from a doctor.most sites ask a few health questions about why you need them but thats about it.it can be costly though.i found a web site that wanted 140.00 for med consult and med.
