I have no idea what having a whipple procured is. That said, no one can predict the amount of time anyone has left to live, not even the doctors. If he is in remission, he could stay in remission and live out his normal life span. I suppose the real question is why you would ask such a question. No one knows if they will be alive 10 seconds from now, and that includes you. Make every minute count for good.

If he is NED (no evidence of disease) and declared in remission - he should be fine and able to live out his life. If the CA comes back, nobody is really able to say how much time he has. He's beaten it once, he could beat it again - the drs can give you an estimate of time if there is nothing else they can do medically for him. IF he's cancer free enjoy life and try not to worry! :)
