Once a bottle of champagne is open, you'll need a special stopper to recork the opened bottle. A regular stopper could easily fly off in the refrigerator. Here's an unproven tip you might want to try: Set a silver spoon, stem side down, into an open bottle of champagne. This should keep the sparkle alive for a day or two in your refrigerator.
And just in case you were wondering: All champagne is sparkling, but not all bubbly wine is technically champagne. Only wine made in France's northern Champagne region according to the age-old Méthode Champenoise may be labelled champagne. Everything else, no matter how delicious, small-bubbled, or expensive, is simply sparkling. .
hope this answers your question

It doesn't. This theory stems from French folk wisdom (which, admittedly should mean something when it comes to the bubbly) that suspending a silver spoon in the bottle and placing it in the fridge will help champagne to retain its effervescence and last longer.
This doesn't help. I've done some controlled experiments, in addition to some uncontrolled ones, and in fact any treatment to help a bottle stay bubbly invariably ends in the bottle losing it's carbonation more quickly. The best option is just to drink the bottle.
However, when faced with the strange occurrence of left-over champagne, just put the bottle in the fridge with nothing in the neck. No spoons, napkins, screw caps or corks. It won't be as fresh as when you opened it, but it will be better than putting a spoon in it.

It doesn't. What helps is not putting it in the fridge. If you leave it out on the table it will keep it's fizz overnight but if you put it in the fridge it will lose fizz - same for bottles of coke etc.

It doesn't. It'll retain the fizz just as long without the spoon.
