Wow. That person is for one not a person of God. Remember that non believers and even believers are human. However, your experience is horrendous. I am so sorry for your traumatic experience. Please don't give up on God. He will take care of you and this may make you stronger. I would file a lawsuit against this person, if you haven't already. God will help you through that. He helped me when I had to take a serious issue to court. Pray and don't give up. Stand up for yourself in a respectable and dignified manner. Good luck. I wish you the best of this bad situation. You can overcome this and see that God is all around you, even when the devil is.

You need to start by grounding yourself in reality. For example, you stated that you lost your teeth "on a friendly religion discussion." In reality, it wasn't so friendly, was it?
Then you need to think about "god," in a realistic way. It helps to learn how to meditate, so that "god" can get through to you directly. Otherwise you might have to continue trying to find out about "god" from those who don't like too may questions that they can't answer, or those who don't like it when you point out errors in their "god fantasy."
Most people should be able to relate to what you went through though, because if you want to piss a religious person (especially Christians) off, just tell point out some obvious errors in their beliefs.
God speaks to all those who learn how to listen. The only requisite to listening is shutting up. How can you listen if your mind isn't quiet? Meditation is about "stilling the mind," by concentrating on just one thought. Try letting that thought be for God to show you what you need to know.
