It depends on how much hair you want removed, where it's located, and how many visits (treatments) you'll need. Some lighter hair colors do not respond well to the common types of laser used in laser hair removal.

Also, remember that laser hair removal is not necessarily permanent. There are always some hair follicles which are "hibernating", which is the reason for return visits. Also, since the laser only penetrates 2 mm into the skin, the hair follicles may not be killed.

The cost may be anywhere from $2-5k.

Sh!t I've had it done but I don't remember all the prices. It does depend on your colouring and the thickness of the hairs so you'll probaby need a consult to get your price. It is expensive. And you'll need to get it done about 6 times (if on the body) or 8 times (if on the face) to kill off the root. You cannot get it done near your eyes and it doesn't hurt. The laser feels cold on you then gets colder and colder and colder then suddenly it's hot and that's it.
