Every year when christmas come I don't know what to get my mother. She is very picky. If I get her a gift card it has to have a suitable amount of money on it. At times I don't have like that. But check this, when I end up buy her something. I be thinking to myself, oh she got me what I wanted. Come to find out, she don't get me anything and give me the sad story about she ran out of money. And thaat she will get me something when she get paid. Which she ends up not getting. I take it for what its worth and say or well. So if you have any suggestion please let me know !!!

ask her what she really really wants and get that or give her some money and let her buy what she wants

Buy a nice photo album and fill it with pictures from the past that may be meaningful to her.
If she is a reader consider a book or a subscription to a magazine she likes.
Most moms like to get special toiletries, such as moisturizers that are too expensive for them to buy everyday.
Does she like to exercise or work out? Possibly a one month gym membership, or a pedometer, or something else to do with exercise.
We can choose our friends, but we can't choose our family. It is good of you to be able to take your mom as she is, and love her anyway.
