If you have periodontal disease, if can cause very rank breath, that no amount of breath mints or gum will cure. It can be smelled a mile away, we in the dental field call it perio breath, and it is foul. If that is not the cause, and you have good oral hygiene, see the dentist regularly, it could be from stomach acid, or meals. Try some mouthwash(crest pro health) is also a good one and not near as potent as Listerine, flossing is also a way to help remove smelly food from your teeth which can also contribute. Good Luck

Most often, halitosis has a cause. It may just be from poor hygiene, but you're already brushing regularly.
It could be from gingivitis or gum disease. My dentist told me that gum disease was not something that could be cured, but rather managed. Flossing does wonders! Did you ever smell the floss after using it? Yuck!
But sometimes halitosis could be form discharge from an impacted (embedded into the soft tissue or bone) tooth or an infection of the gums, or decayed teeth. I once had a cavity between my teeth that I couldn't see and I noticed that the floss had an odor after treating that area--an xray revealed the cavity, hence the origin for the odor.
Although rare, halitosis could be from gastrointestinal problems.
The only way to be sure is to see a Periodontist- dentist specializing in gum disease. They have may products and treatments for it.

Believe it or not, the majority of bad breath is actually being released from your lungs. That is the result of the food you eat being released as gasses. You can talk to your doctor about this and perhaps get a list of foods to avoid. I know two big culprits are coffee and garlic. If you really must drink coffee, drink it through a straw so that the remnants don't get stuck on your tongue.

You should floss thoroughly every day. Floss every tooth by sliding the floss between the tooth and gum and scraping it up and down until it is squeaky clean. Go to bed with your mouth very clean.
If you are keeping your mouth clean, and you don't have any dental diseases (decay or periodontal) then the odor may be coming from the food that you eat, infected sinuses or stomach problems.

Get a glass of water and but some sail into to it . And just do the same as what you do with mouth wash . And if that does not work try gum . And if that does not work try going to your doctor and to hear what he says . And i comes from down blow . Not from you teeth or anything like that .

I wouln't chew too much gum because it is not that healthy, so I would eat mints after eating a meal. Everybody's breath smells after they eat a meal, so have a mint. I would suggest a "Spearmint".
