I sit there in class fantasizing, I look at his eyes which are such a deep brown they are almost black. But my grades are slipping, I came to relize passing highschool is more important than looking at this boy, but i cannot stop thinking about him. Any hints on how to focus?

Oh i think you have it bad! But the hold over you gets strong doesn't it? I would think about your grades as priority tho. Imagine what he would think of you if you had really excellent marks. He would notice you then. Clever and no doubt beautiful! If you have to - repeat over in your mind - highschool is more important, highschool is more important! Try not to look at him. Imagine him sitting on the toilet until your end of term! I had a major crush on a guy who looked like a model... seriously and he was my next door neighbour!! His voice did it for me. I would try to fill your time with things you truely enjoy aswell as your work so then you have the control over your feelings not the feelings having control over you. Try to see if he has any bad physical qualites about him (such as a mole, zit, bald spot, etc.) and just focus on that one bad quality for a while until you get your grades up. Either that or ask him out! Maybe if you guys were dating and saw a lot more of each other, you wouldn't fantasize about him as much.

You have to focus on you right now no matter what. SInce you realize your grades are slipping your priorities are all screwed up. If you keep at this pace you will be serving him a burger rather than being in a relationship.

Well when you fail and you have to take summer school or repeat your grade I'm sure that boy will be long gone so keep that in mind!

I know what you mean. I try not to stare at him during our committee meetings, but it's a struggle. Just keep reminding yourself that he's just a guy and, therefore, unnecessary.

the studies come first, plain and simple. you're gonna meet many guys in your life, getting a diploma should be a priority.

yep... i know that feeling... it happened to me alot of times... just make him your inspiraton to do good in class... impress him but no showing off... just be yourself in doing so... and who knows.. maybe he'll start noticing you..
