i cant wait to get mine at 16!!! but dont get anymore, like a second ear hole or nose/lip or anything like that, it will be soo tacky. And when your like 40-50 your probably not going to be wearing bikinis or shirts that show your belly button (not that you should where a shirt like that now) so yeah go ahead and get it. and tell your bf that its your body. maybe he'll change his mind when u get it.

Don't do it. I had mine pierced and I regret having it done. I took it out and let the hole close up. First of all, it hurts a lot, and also it makes girls look trashy. My bf also doesn't like piercings, but I had my belly button pierced before I met him.

They are very prone to infection.

You know what might be a great compromise and it looks very sexy

A belly chain with a ring dangling from it.
You have the gold chain cut to your waist size.

Pair it with some sexy lingerie or low cut riders and you got the look going on!

Their cute, but every girl has one. I had mine done 4 times, top, bottom, and both sides. When I found out I was pregnant I took all of them out. Their are still marks, that dont look like they will ever go away. In a way I kind of miss it but in a way I dont cause everyoooonnneee has theirs pierced. If you decide to do it take extra good care cause its takes a long time to heal.

it is really up to you, but keep in mind they take a long time to heal.
I was disappointed with mine (I was allergic to the first one and had to have it replaced with an expensive gold one). Because of the waistbands on my work clothes, it was very irritated for a long time. It never got infected, but I was so uncomfortable with it that I went into the bathroom one day and took it out.

It draws attention to your stomach, so make sure you're comfortable with that. And if you get one dont wear thin shirts that make whatever you are wearing in your piercing poke out like a wierd bump.
