There are two versions in Genesis. One is the familiar Adam-first. The other says "In G-d's image, he created him. Male and female, he created them." According to that one, it happened at the same time. Just one of the many contradictions -- two versions, with different significant details.

oh thats simple...he wanted adam to have a chance to relax,have a couple cold ones at the end of the day,ya know put his feet up for awhile and kick back because when eve gets there you know how its gonna be....get your feet off the coffee table,take the trash out, are you drinking?..adam i told you before i dont want you drinking and if i have to smash this apple against your head to get you to understand well...and when the hell are you going to find a better job....yea..god knew what he was doing here
