Hi honestly I would think about who has been there and who has been the father figure in your life but you can have two dances and there are alot of songs for father in daughters to dance to it all depends on what kind of music you like there's one I can name from a country singer called I loved her first by heartland its talking about a father and a daughter being close and shes getting married now and the dad is talking about when she was younger but I would have two dances so neither you step father or your real father wouldn't be hurt but there's alot of song out there google it ( that has everything) good luck and best wishes!!!

This is a wedding, not a business convention. Don't suffer from equal attention distribution syndrome. Remember this is foremost a family gathering. My dad and stepdad were both groom's men. Be a good sport;Dance with them all. Blue Sky is the song my wife and I danced to.

It's your wedding - dance with whomever you want to =) You could have a song dedicated to your mother for everyone to dance to: you and your husband and your mom and stepdad; and you could include his parents too.

I danced with my father and with with stepdad. For my stepdad, I used the song "He didn't have to be" by Brad Paisley:

When a single mom goes out on a date with somebody new
It always winds up feeling more like a job interview
My momma used to wonder if she'd ever meet someone
Who wouldn't find out about me and then turn around and run

I met the man i call my dad when i was five years old
He took my mom out to a movie and for once i got to go
A few months later i remember lying there in bed
I overheard him pop the question and prayed that she'd say yes

And then all of a sudden
Oh, it seemed so strange to me
How we went from something's missing
To a family
Lookin' back all i can say
About all the things he did for me
Is i hope i'm at least half the dad
That he didn't have to be

I met the girl that's now my wife about three years ago
We had the perfect marriage but we wanted somethin' more
Now here i stand surrounded by our family and friends
Crowded 'round the nursery window as they bring the baby in

And now all of a sudden
It seemed so strange to me
How we've gone from something's missing
To a family
Lookin' through the glass i think about the man
That's standin' next to me
And i hope i'm at least half the dad
That he didn't have to be

Lookin' back all i can say
About all the things he did for me
Is i hope i'm at least half the dad
That he didn't have to be

Yeah, i hope i'm at least half the dad
That he didn't have to be
Because he didn't have to be
You know he didn't have to be

I'd say, have your father give you away, like you're supposed to. Of course, you don't have to, just a suggestion. If you decide your mom is giving you away, then have your father dance w/ you anyway. After that, if you like, dance w/ your step dad! Everything here is suggestions, not MUSTS. Good Luck and Congratulations!

My mum gave me away at my wedding and I danced with her. It doesn't matter if you dance with your mum no one will say anything, they will just think that it is very sweet and very nice. Once you have danced with her you can dance with your step dad, once you have danced with your new husband.

You could dance to I Turn To You - by Christina Aguilera with your mum as that is a very lovely song

I would suggest your real dad, then your step dad. See if you can make a montage so that a different song is playing for both. Heck, if you really want dance with your MOM!!! I see no problem with it, if she is giving you away there has to be a reason for this selection!
