I guess this question is for both guys and girls. I have been with my girlfriend for 16 months today and this week she told me that we should take a break. I have never had this happen before so I dont really know how all that works. But I asked her if she was wanting to see other people her answer was no. Then i asked if she had any intentions on continuing a relationship and or future with me and she also said yes. All of my friends and most people that i have asked say that I should move on because she has been treating me like trash for about a month or two now. I believe that we can work things out and she still says she loves me and wants to be with me and i still love her so I need some advice from people that have had experience with this type of thing. I have had one huge heartbreak already and i dont really know if i could live threw another one too.

one of those things in life we have to go thru time after time unless u get to be one of the lucky ones and hang on to the love of ur life. when one person in the relationship doesnt want to continue its hard to stay afloat for both of u. u could break up and be friends but u will have to let go if she not wanting to continue a relationship. try it out and see what happens u can wait for her or move on and find someone that really wants to be with u. hurting is part of healing and learning from the relationship think of good things that happened and let her go. dont focus on the bad/sad parts or it will tear u up. u cant live if u dont love somebody and time will come when u find out if its her or some other lucky girl. u can and will live thru it u are worth it.

If you don't think you can live through another breakin I would suggest you take the time (the break as she called it) to move on. Your heart will break either way, but at least you will be more prepared.

Very simple. When people are happy together, they stay together. If they're NOT happy together, they part. You need to be stronger within YOURSELF to be able to make such decisions. It's NOT totally based on the other individual. YOUR own happiness is the issue.

I think you should move on... date other people. Remind her other people are interested in you too and you don't deserve to be treated like trash.

Dont buy it bro, If she loved you there is no reason for a break. Dont get your hopes up if you wait.

If she is feeling this way then maybe it is for a reason. Give her the space that she needs.
