Your scalp is trying to tell you that it's dry and/or it doesn't like what you're putting on your hair. Sometimes even hard water deposits are the problem. Putting oil on an "already dry" scalp may just exacerbate the problem, so do it when the scalp is still a bit damp. You may also have a candida (yeast) issue on your scalp (quite common actually), and a little Monistat or Dakatrin will clear that right up. Tea tree oil has antifungal properties that will also clear a thrush flare-up, as will apple cider vinegar (shake the bottle first).

If it is just a dry scalp and not any other condition, olive oil is great, apply it before you go to bed and in the morning give it a good firm but not too deep a comb through right to the scalp, could be slight cradle cap as adults can get this as well as babies good luckxx

Mix 5 teaspoons each of olive oil and lemon juice, apply to scalp and leave on for 15 minutes then rinse it out and wash hair as normal with a good anti-dandruff shampoo
(I find that Head & Shoulders works best for me). Repeat twice a week.

I used to have a constant dry scalp and slight eczema, I started taking a fish oil supplement and after a few weeks I saw a major improvement! You can get fish oil at any health food store. Good luck:)

That,Try this remedy.

Some people when they are under stress the scalp go dry. It is just a reaction and can be cured. Drink plenty of water and take lots of fruits. sleep well and try to be stress free ( That, if you are under stress)
if you can always apply good quality coconut oil once a week. When the weather is cold pour the oil into a small cup and place it in a warm water for few minutes and apply to your hair. after 10 minutes wash your hair. If you leave it too long you might catch cold because you lose your body heat. This remedy is good for your eyes too. it will help since you are in front of the PC for too long. Help headaches as well. Your hair grow well too.

Rub olive oil into your scalp.Leave overnight wash off and comb scalp gently. It may take a few treatments but I have successfully removed cradle cap from my elderly aunt and mother in law this way.Leave a few days between treatment and be gentle.Your Dr may prescribe special shampoo so depending on your circumstances you may not have to pay.Keep it healthy by choosing an appropriate shampoo---your pharmacist will advise

do not over wash your hair that can dry your scalp out a lot, use shampoo that does not strip moisture from hair

A really good not oil treatment. And only wash your hair once or twice a week. Washing to often washes out the natural oils and makes it super dry.
