My wife and I moved into a hundred year old house three years ago and from the beginning we noticed small things, like movement out of the corner of your eye, or odd feelings, but lately we think that whatever is in this house with us is playing with our son and his toys. Jackson, my son, is 15 months old and is constantly laughing and pointing at nothing. Sometimes he "chases" his imagination around the table or jabbers to thin air. All this COULD be normal behaviour for an infant, but in the past week or so, his toys are moving themselves and turning on and off. Last week The downstairs was a mess after my wife went to work, toys all over the place, and I took Jackson upstairs for his nap and when I came downstairs all the toys were put away. Yesterday I was sitting by a keyboard toy and it started to play one of the pre recorded songs on it. I KNOW that it was not turned on, because I turned it off about 30 minutes before.

I heard once of some people that lived in a house (a long time back) that had everybody who stayed there thinking it was haunted. Similar to your experience. Then they found a leak in a gas pipe (which at the time had a high level of carbon monoxide - I don't know that it still does or not). Anyway...they fixed the leak and the hallucinations went away.
And in a totally unrelated, seemingly random admission, yes, I believe in life after death. I'm just uncertain as to how much I or any part of me (spirit?) plays in it. Like the song says "life goes on without you".

Of course silly. There is a better life awaiting us when we leave this life which some consider this as hell on earth. There will be no pain, sorrow or agony in heaven.
Concerning your 'housemates'...it is a well known belief that the innocence of a child enables them to see people from the other side. Their minds have not become slanted by others beliefs.
These images or people are very real to Jackson. He isn't afraid is he?
Sounds like you have friendly ghosts...like Casper.
Be thankful, some are not so nice. Have you tried to research the history on the house and see if anyone passed on while in the house?
Sylvia Browne says if they are troublesome you should just tell them to go on to the other side. They have lost their way and just need a gentle nudge.
My dad had similar occurrences in his house. A woman was killed in the house years before (which he didn't know when he purchased it). My father, brother and my Uncle all lived in the house. My uncle and dad told me of smelling strong perfume, lipstick writings on the mirror in the bathroom--no women were in the house! And strong odors of cigars. (don't know what that was all about) My uncle called them friendly haunting(s).
Hope this helps. I guess I wouldn't be afraid, doesn't sound like they are mean spirited (bad pun). :)

confident and that's call "Reincarnation" it relatively is a spiritual (like Hindu and Buddhism) and philosophical (Buddhism) theory that the spirit, after organic and organic go away, starts off a sparkling life in a sparkling physique which would be human variety, animal or religious observing the stable and undesirable high quality of the previous life's. For an occasion- there are lots of youngsters born common , each 2d all world extensive and so so does animals.. some little ones born in adverse kinfolk's and a few born in wealthy and a few in between, some born with disabilities and a few healthful.. some little ones born and die at that occasion like they see the worldwide for few seconds and a few are paralyses and affliction.. some born interior the countries the place they have the war and a few no longer.. and likewise, why do animals born.. rather of born as animals.. why can no longer those souls born as people?? all of them are the consequences of what they have achieved of their previous life, do no longer you think of?? :)

Yes, I do believe in ghosts. The Bible also supports the belief in ghosts. When Jesus walked on the water the apostles thought it was a ghost. I too live in a very old house. One night my husband and I saw the ghost of a little girl walk through our dinning room into our sitting room. She turned and walked into a wall and disappeared. About 1 year later we found out that a woman stabbed her daughter and killed her in our back yard.

Awww, I want my own private ghost. Well, if it helps, a pastor or a priest will clear that right up. Exorcism is prescribed for even benign spirits, helps them move on to the next world. If the haunting stays harmless, don't worry about it, it may be a previous owner attached to the house and its occupants.

Their is no such things as ghosts and spirits. Only demonic activity. Life after death of course to deny that would be to deny God, because He raised Christ to a human form after death, not a spirit form but a human form. The dead are dead they are concious of nothing at all. Tell all the demonic activity to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. Have faith in God. Order them out of your house. They have to listen. The demons come disquised as something good as something unharmful, do not let them trick you, order them away. May God Bless you and give you knowledge.
