I have a boyfriend and I think I'm in love with him but we have a long distance relationship. BTW he's spending Christmas with me this year. We love each other no doubt. Sometimes it just worries me if we can work it out. I don't want any failed relationships anymore. I fervently hope he's the ONE.

long distance relationships are good when they start off, especially when you just met for the first time. When phoning and writing it's all good, but there's has to be a date line on this, its not a Healthy one. If you or he invites one home for the holidays there has to be more to it than that, like a contact and staying put and giving one another the Time with each other and not Playing You for the Sex.Commit is the Thing !even if giving up where he is living to come to you .If a man Realy Loves a Woman! He will do whatever it Takes to Keep Her and Make Happy and Himseld too.

Well, it seems to me that you guys are okay, hes coming to spend the holidays with you, he obviously wants to be there and spend the time he can with you. But as far as the fundamental question, you cant MAKE anybody stay happy. If you two werent compatible, and he loved you, but you didnt love him, is there any way he could MAKE you stay in the relationship? nah. If you two love each other, it will work out. If you feel that strongly about him, tell him. You never know, he may say hes wanted to say the same thing to you and just never had the courage because he is afraid of the same things you are. Good luck and merry xmas!!

You hope he is the onje only because you don't want to be alone anymore. Thats not the right kind of attitude to have in a relationship. You can't stay with someone just because you don't want to be alone. If you love him an he loves you, it doesn't matter how far apart you are. Thats also good that you are going to see each other for christmas. I wish you luck!

Having a long distance relationship is a hard one. But you can't make him happy. Happiness has to come from within. Take care.

If you're BOTH happy together, enjoy the relationship. And stop worrying about things before there's reason to.
