Did you know that if you choose to be joyful enough, it's physically impossible to get angry, fret, stew, or worry?

And that if you choose it often enough, it's physically impossible to be broke, sick, lonely, or confused.

Oh yeah. Some things really are impossible.

I recognize this as one of last week's excellent Messages from the Universe and have to say, I absolutely agree.

Life is full of choices and suffering really is optional. Just about every situation has a positive aspect and the more we focus on the positive, the more good will happen in our lives.

Think about someone who has a habit of being angry or irritated. Their subconscious actually looks for things to get angry or irritated about and that person's result is a never ending procession of things to get down about.

In a lot of ways, we all have these habits and it's necessary to break them if we wish to improve our lives or achieve different results. We have to start expecting good. We have to realize while things may not always turn out the way we want, life unfolds as it should and if nothing else, we can learn from every experience. We have to trust the Universe to support us and make it possible for us to fulfill our true purpose.

Being joyful is about more than tricking yourself into smiling. It's about being at peace with the Universe, being thankful for the great gift of life and the chance to participate in the great passion play that is the Human Race. It's abot understanding that every other creature you meet is part of the same fabric that you are made of and vital to the grand design, "flaws" and all.

The truest reward, as the Universe says, is happier living right here, right now. Thoughts are things, choose the good ones!

Namaste,
Gwen

(Neh 8:10) Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Thanks, RR
