Not always. It doesn't serve you if you're always completely 100% honest..

This really depends on the relationship you have with your parents and the type of parents that you have. Some parents are very understanding and can accept a very open relationship with there children. Others are not and can not. Personally, I have a very good relationship with all of my children, however, there are somethings that go on in their lives, I would not want to know the details about. They are grown. God bless****

If you or another are in danger or any harm, then you have to tell them. No exceptions. Otherwise, it depends on the relationship you have or would like to have with your parents. Believe me, my parents still do not know everything I did when I was a teenager because we were not close. My two teenagers and I are much, much closer and we talk. Believe me, I don't want to know EVERYTHING (like what he said, she said, he said), but the important things like who your friends are or who you're in love with, definitely.

As a parent now of 3 grown children my answer to you is yes. I had open communication with all my children. Are there things they did not tell me, of course. But I was there for them, they knew it. At times told me things I wished I was not hearing, but that is part of being a parent. There is no one that loves you more and so unconditionally as your parents. They are your best advisors in life....allow them in on your life journey and you will find life a little smoother.

to a degree that depends on your age - if it is about something where you might be in danger - (as a young person) then definitely - or at least talk to another trusted adult & ask them to speak to your parents
when my children were quite young I hoped that they told me everything - however as they reached their teens & have now become adults I certainly do not expect that to happen.
Just so long as they know they can talk to me on any subject & while I might not agree with their opinions/actions I will not judge them.

I think its hard to tell everything to your parents but they have your best interest at heart and you should try to be as honest as possible with them.

There are some things parents don't want to know. I wouldn't tell my parents everything. I talk to them about important stuff.

Everything?............... No. I never did and never will (I'm 31 now) tell them everything. But important things, yes. Possibly life changing things, definitely yes. It depends on what you're talking about and how old you are. Your question is kind of vague.

yes, there not there to judge you, they are there to help you out when ever you need them. but then that also depends on the parents, if you have loving ones do tell them, they will appriciate it knowing they done something right in raising you. that you feel good about tellling them.

No. You are entitled to your privacy as well. You tell them what you want them to know. Also remember when you want advice, to go to them first to ask for it. Tell them things that you are comfortable with. That is entirely up to you. You dont have to feel guilty because you dont tell them what you are doing 24/7.

to tell you the truth i don't really know it depends on what you are going to tell them but yeah cause you will always be thinking that same question and until you tell them you will be relief but just tell them and don't be afraid and good luck
