Use Msconfig.

You can either use the 'Search' tool (click on start and then on the left-search) to locate the programs and delete them from there or right click on your tool bar and 'customise' to decide if you want them to come up or not...Am sure that is the way that I would do it

Just delete any entries you don't want to start with your computer.
