I'M A CHRISTIAN AND LOOKING FOR A CHURCH I CAN FEEL SOMETHING IN. WHERE THE MEMBERS AREN'T AFRAID TO SING ABOUT THE LORD, MAYBE WITH A CHOIRE? I ALSO NEED A DAYCARE FOR MY LITTLE ONE. I LIVE IN INDIAN TRAIL BUT WILL TRAVEL A BIT TO FIND A CHURCH. I'VE BEEN TO FOREST HILL, AND CALVARY IN CHARLOTTE AND I'M STILL LOOKING. THANK YOU! GOD BLESS

You may be new to the area, but you shouldn't be new to the church...your first line stated that you are a Christian...don't get hung up on the word Christian, God already know that about many of us...the most important word that you should be looking at is the word "Church" that you used...let me try to break it down to you as to what you should feel and how you should feel:
1)Church--the building is not what gives you the feeling(if you notice you have "CH_ _CH" fill in the missing letters and that's what it's mainly about...don't go looking to the people or the building to give you anything...you are to look to God, because
"UR" the church...so many of us are hung up on what other people are going to say and how we are going to look if we are getting filled in a building...

Ask yourself as a Christian: Have you asked God to use you to his glory? Well what if this is the place where he has placed you...and remember what the Bible say about being ashamed to own him before men...I'm not saying that this is the case, maybe it's a test to see if you will give God a "Crazy praise"...people may think that you have lost your mind, but don't look at the people look at the Creator...he has given you something deep down inside of you that you are probably just waiting to release it...and before you know it if someone else may just break out of their shells, because they've been waiting on God too...they just didn't know how to do it...but YOU do and want to...this is where God wants us to be a vessel willing to submit ourselves anytime, anyplace and be a blessing to everyone.

Afterall "Let everthing that has breath, Praise the Lord" not people. The last time I checked, everything that I've known to be "dead" was buried.

As far as your Little One, I would advise that you pray about it, and there just might be someone in the church that will help you in this situation. I would recommend an elderly person. (not too elderly) but trust God that the person would love to have your child spend the day with them.

Sorry that the answer was so lengthy. I hope that it helps.
I will be praying for you, and you for me.

God Bless.

My husband is a semi-driver for Jack In The Box. He travels regularly to Charlotte, and he's met some really nice Christians. When he comes home later, I'll come back and edit, and tell you if he knows of one.

When you say choir, are you talking a Gospel Choir that sings with a lot of spirit and enthusiasm, and goes on for a long time?

Try Restoration at Chapel Grove. Church of God. They are not afraid to sing, they actually really get into the songs. They have a praise team. They have an after school care, I think it is daycare also. They are very involved in the service. The pastor is great. I know first hand, he is my brother in law. It is located at the corner of crowders creek and chapel grove school road. Gastonia just off 321. # to call if you need is 704-865-0925

A church needs to be as great as needed with a view to abode it really is contributors, and frequently which will be sure the size outfitted. I disagree with having any extras which incorporates foodstuff courts or e book shops. A church should be formed with as few as 2 or 3 contributors, and which could be someones living room too. I actually trust the further funds might want to bypass to assisting the negative, yet on the instant our authorities has particularly a lot eradicated negative human beings as a results of giving to all who want. i understand those who get employ, foodstuff, clothing allowance and many different advantages on the instant even even with the truth that the daddy of the toddlers lives with them and works making good funds. confident it truly is a criminal offense, yet they do it besides. on the instant, the authorities is God to many, and that receives worse if the election is going incorrect, and then the church homes can commence to get smaller.

This is the Internet. It's worldwide. If you're new to the area, I must wonder what planet you come from?

You'll be best served by visiting all of the local churches in your area. Get out a phone book and get busy. Maybe you'll get lucky and meet someone who can point you to a good local church. But you need to do this in RL, not online.

Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses
821 Chestnut Lane, Indian Trail, NC 28079

They do a free home Bible study, and everyone sings at the meetings.

Cannot help with the day care but I know if you turn your needs over to the Lord he will fill them. In looking for a church you need to find one that is sprit filled. Nothing else will compare.

The link below would be a good place to start.

God Bless

I converted to the Catholic faith so I'd point you there.

Keep this in mind: emotions and feelings are good, but fleeting. A church that stays faithful to the truth of God and His teachings is where you want to go.
