You can check the plugs for damage, but I doubt you did your motor any harm.

If the threads weren't damaged and the plugs tightened down, no. I had the same thing, they were so loose I took them off by hand. Didn't hurt a thing.

i own a repair shop,and i doubt that you damaged them, if there damaged at all it was probably done some time ago,,but they probably just need tightened back up,,they will come loose if there not tight enough on them,,but these had a good cast head,,so i doubt that there is any damage to them,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s,,have a good x-mas.

i bought a 69 dodge dart once,and i put new plugs in it and they never came loose.maybe you didnt have them in tight enough.mine was the slant 6.

no it should be alright remember to alway run them down buyhand before you tighten them so you dont strip them. its a older car with lots of vibrations im shure just check them alot. you will be ok
