I have already knew about Atheists before I came on here
They only believe in a self-serving God and that God is themselves

Since I was an agnostic for many years and am married to an atheist, let me put it like this.

When I was an agnostic I never put down Christians as being stupid. I felt they had a right believe as they pleased and often said so.

Although my husband is still an atheist he treats Christians with respect.

So what I have learned from SOME of the atheists on this site is just how much hatred there is toward Christians. It’s sad because it is very destructive to carry around hatred for anybody, but I suppose some make the choice to feast on bitter fruit.

There is nothing I have learned about atheists since coming to this site. Everything I needed to know was already written in the Bible.

Yes, I do. I always thought atheists were ambiguous about the things of God. Like it never even entered their minds much one way or the other.

I have realized from being here that there is huge desire in some atheists heart to debate, challenge, "enlighten", declare their belief. I even think some of them feel love for their fellow human beings, and wish to liberate them from their *oppressive religious beliefs*.

I like people with that kind of heart. I believe they are wrong, of course, but you gotta like people who are passionate about the welfare of others.....

You did not say atheism but rather atheists.

What I have learned is that atheists are as sure of their position (and just as combative) as Christians are about theirs. Checkmate!!

My purpose here is not to convince atheists to become Christians but rather to support fellow Christians.
