its probably what the vet calls hot spots buy some anti itch cream and see what happens. the test for mange is costly but unless you know youre dog has got out and caught this from another dog. i wouldnt worry its hot spots mange thins the hair out till its gone and makes the skin look black if it looks pink than youre ok

One home remedy that works and it is messy on the Dog , but it works...it really works 100% guaranteed.
Drain some burned oil from your lawnmower or Car and rub that oil on the Mange all over and completely cover it all. The oil will kill the parasite and the hair will grow back.

Have you tried iodine and baby oil mixed together? It will take several applications. If the dog has the "red mange", you'd be better of taking it to a vet.

He might have an allergic skin condition and may be gnawing his hair off. Still--I'd take him to the vet....it could be a any one of a number of things.

tea tree oil put a few drops mixed with water example 5 drops to half a gallon and rub on her or best yet go to pet store and buy shampoo with tea tree oil..tea tree oil helps hair grow back plus it kills parasites..
