Jesus is acknowledging that he knows, as it "techniquely looks", that Mary Magdeline who AT THAT TIME was considered a harlot (whore)--before she met Jesus and was "changed", had no husband. But he knew that, because there was no divorce back in biblical times, she still had five. It was a "till death do we part" thing back then. To answer your dark black question: In today's world, you're not a polygamist--sexually promiscious is more the term. You're only a polygamist, which is only accepted now in eastern countries, if you attempt and do marry more than one person.

Polygamy means a system of marriage whereby one person has more than one spouse. Polygamy can be of two types. One is polygyny where a man marries more than one woman, and the other is polyandry, where a woman marries more than one man. Polygamy is having many marriages - many wives or many husbands at the same time. When someone has sex with another person's husband or wife, that is adultery.
Having 'had sex with more than one person' when not involving marriage, is being promiscuous or prostituting oneself.

Only if you are married to all of them at the same time. If you are married to one person and had sex with others, then you just had an affair. So, my opinion, I hope that your spouse finds out and divorces your butt!
