The previous answer is completely wrong. Where do people get this stuff? Having a US citizen child affords NO immigration or residency benefits at all. At age 21, if that child is domiciled in the US and choses to petition for the parent, the parent can then apply for an immigrant visa. That's all.

As for you petitioning for her, you can do so if, and only if, you are married to her.

if you had kids, they can have her in US by law until they are 18. So you can do it in their name.
