Wow, bet that is messy. I have a 3 year old daughter that likes to get chewing gum in her hair...different methods I have used are peanut butter, fresh chewed gum (I use the freshly chewed gum to pick up the other chewing gum..it really works!) vegetable oil, and ice cubes to harden it. Being that this is on your sonys eyes, ice is out of the question. You could try the peanut butter or the oil route...it will soften the gum enough to lightly scrape it off, and do no harm to his eyes.

wow that must sting ....... now firstly we must identify what type of gum , this is very important to recommending the cure...
are we talking Wrigley's or hubba bubba?
if Wrigley's u need to find a Tibetan yak, pluck 3 hairs from its right leg and shout very loudly strawberries give me the runs the gum will then miraculously fall out his eyes,
on the other hand if its hubba bubba well my god girl ur son is in big trouble coz not only do u need the yak hair u also need tinsel from a polish christmas tree and wrap it round ur head , jump up and down on one leg screaming why the hell did i ask how to get chewing gum out of eyes ...?!

Well don't take him to a doctor...turn the computer on and ask the yahoo community? Why not? It's only the kid's eyesight at risk.
