1. Concentration needs constant reading. Initially you may not concentrate but once you start understanding the subject and go deep in to the subject, automatically you will love the subject and able to concentrate more. For this you must read consistently. Try to understand the subject first and then proceed furhter. In case of doubts, you must clear them with friends or teachers. Studying is not part time job. You must read daily for six days in a week all the possibel time and taking one day off from studies.
2. Memory comes from repitition. No body can remember if a topic is read once or twice. It must be read several times at different periods so that a permnent print is formed in the brain.
Some topics like numbers and data there is no other way except to mugup.
3. Scoring marks is different issue. you can do it later by preparing in an examination oriented way. Take previous examination papers, observe the mode and type of of questions being asked. you can notice some important questions being repeated several times. you must biheart those answers totally.
4. Have sufficient sleep and good balanced diet.
5. Keep away from T.V. movies for the six days in the week.
Work hard. You will success. There is no alternative nor magic nor any short cut for the success in studies.

Go & sit in a silent room or u can sit in a store room where no one can disturb u. Find a place where no one can disturb u. Just sit & start reading the topic which u would like to study suppose u have 6 subjects then first see which subject u find more interesting & study the topic from that subject thoroughly & only focus on that topic & study till u r perfectly prepared & after that ask questions to urself & when u confidentally answer those question & fully pit-pat with it then write down those question & answers looking into the book & when ur perfect then close the book & write the answer without looking into the book & after finishing it then start a topic from another subject & again do the same thing. In this way u finish the topics from all the 6 subjects & finally once again ask the questions frm all the subjects & make urself perfect. If u want u can write down the answer once again if u want (not necessary) but its a good practise. Just try it, it'll really work. Even i do the same thing. Start studying & only focus on ur studies. All the best!!!

Select a page or a paragraph.
Read fully the selected contents
Just find out how your mind wanders to get away from the job.
It means you are lacking determination. Now try to concentrate on the subject. Keep the paper away. Write down or try to remember the contents of your reading. This will slowly improve your memory power and concentration

I too have a weak memory. After having a difficult time the first year I ended up graduating college with excellent grades by coming up with a system of study that worked for me. I studied at certain times of the day and specific days of the week that coincided with my class schedule. I don't know how I came up with it but I did and it worked.
I'm older now and I still have a bad memory for details but I notice it matters what you eat, drink and smoke....

I would suggest Swimming and attending regular exercising classes in a gym, Yoga and Pranayam can very effective as well but you need to do all the above on a daily schedule without fail. Don't expect improvements very soon though, wait and see for atleast 2-3 months.

When you read anything the brain only retains the first 15 minutes and the last 15 minutes of everything that you read. Read and study 15 minutes at a time and make notes of what you are studying. I guarantee this will help.
