sounds about right, hwever The statement could be viewed as a complament. Also, I have learned the hard way, don't ask questions you don't want the answers to.

I think at first I would have been stunned. I would have continued on and finished my meal. Then I would have given him the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps this was his sad attempt at a joke. I would have asked him again if he was serious regarding his response. Depending on his answer, if yes he was serious. I would have just politely ended the date, we have nothing in common. No harm. And went home and enjoyed the rest of my evening, probably would have called a girlfriend and laughed about it. I would not have dumped a table fool of food in his lap, that was a very immature action and he is probably glad he doesn't have to see her anymore. Seems as though she is a little crazy and over reacts very quickly. God bless****

I probably wouldn't have dumped the table, but I would have sat there with a look of shock on my face for several minutes, asked for an explanation as to how many girls he's gotten/kept using that line, and depending on his answer, may/may not have walked out.

I am not as dramatic as your friend but I would have been put off by the comment. I do not want to date a guy that spends his time watching porn. The date would have ended early and I would not have taken his calls after that.

I think your friend is a smart girl. He should have stopped after "I've always wanted to go out with you'. Doesn't exactly sound like he loves her for her brains, you know?

I would have bolted too. I've found that any time a guy compairs me to another woman he ends up trying to turn me into that woman. Or his imagined ideal of who that woman is and what she would be like.

I, as a guy, would never make such a statement. From a woman's point of view, he got off lucky
