Scan the negatives/transparencies (or have this done for you) But this won't help you 'take digital pictures' For that you need a digital camera. However, you will be able to alter, tweak, whatever, your scanned pictures in an imaging programme

just have the film developed at your local photo lab that will put the prints on a cd.

if it is an undeveloped one you must develop it first !!
scanning it will not give you digital pics.
