I think the notion of a "God who created All" and who "Loves us all" is nothing more than an attempt to make us all feel better about the fact that since we are here we will all one day die!
A more important question is, when will we stop using our belief in "God" as an excuse to kill others??????

And I think religion ought to teach people to love each other, not kill each other.

I'm agnostic at most. But if I had to go for a belief system it would be Buddhism because it doesnt centre on this retarded idea that some omnipotent being does miracles if you follow the religion as written in an old man-made book.

I believe in the religion of peace. I encorporate a lot of the principles of Buddhism into my life. After studying all major religions it is the one that reaches out to my soul the most. There is no hate in Buddhism as there is in the other religions. While I do not align myself with the Theravada temple anymore, I do think that living through the principles of Buddhism is much more healthy then other religions that preach a 'hell' for non-followers of their religions and breed nothing but violence and hate.
