most people feel 16 is about the right age, but this varies from person to person, depending on their level of maturity!

Ceola, I have NEVER read it in a book nor seen it anywhere where a stipulated age is designed for dating. If I'm right, I s'ppose you've started dating with a guy, then, what should concern you now is what becomes of that dating. To me, it's NOT a matter of the age you start but the aftermath of the relationship.

There are many forms of dating. My brother "dated" three girls in 8th grade but that involved nothing more than holding hands occasionally and dancing at the school dances. It was kind of cute. They never went on a date w/ just the two of them but went out w/ a group of people and would sit next to eachother. In highschool I'd think you hang out more and such. 15 or 16 is a good age for going out on dates. Plus its a lot easier once you can drive.

About 15 or 16. You should really start dating when you think you're ready and responsible enough.
