the pineapple and cherries sounds pretty
The oranges would also be very attractive
also:
spiced apple rings would be very pretty also
clumps of different colored grapes (not dipped in sugar - but just natural)
you could take parsley and make a nice thick ring of parsley all the way around the platter - then place cherry tomatoes around in the parsley and it would look like a Christmas wreath
or you could garnish with baby sweet gerkins, baby dill gerkins, black and green olives
be creatative and have fun!!!:)

You can also dip grapes, still on stems, in slightly beaten egg whites and coat with sugar. Place around ham. Slice orange, make a radius cut to center and twist. Place around ham.

Maybe take pineapple rings around it and then put cherries in the center of the rings.

I like everybody's suggestions - however, do not eat the frosted grapes, as they've been dipped in Raw egg (decorative only).

I AGREE WITH ALL THE COMMENTS. MY ONLY SUGGESTION IS THAT YOU PLAVE THE CHERRIES IN THE CENTER HOLE OF THE PINEAPPLE AND HOLD IT THERE WITH CLOVES. i ALSO WOULDN'T USE LETTUCE IT'S TO WHIMPY, IT'LL WILT. TRY A WEIGHTIER GREEN.
