If only, if only.
Instead I'll be cooking for 10 - most of them ungrateful. And one of them I've never even met before, for chrissakes! (My son decided to invite his friend to our house from xmas eve to boxing day without asking me.)
And they expect the full 3 course lunch with loads of drink. Then I'll be cleaning up after the lot of them.
I'd much rather stay in bed with a book and do myself some beans on toast when I get peckish.
Next year I think I'll do exactly that and tell my family to feck off.

Lat time I had beans on toast, which, by the way, my brother and I love, was in 1979. My family and I were in Ireland.
Since then, I'll make it for myself everyone once in a while

Beans and toast aren't bad. I guess it does'nt really matter what you have as long as you are with people whom you love and they love you. It could be worse, you could be homeless and alone and hungry. Just think someone out there just might be having beans on toast and be very thankful.

Well with my mates Tango and Arris and their weird food options, it might be the best bet for me. I think I will have beens on toast tonight with 2 slices of chrispy bacon and a big grilled tomato. some grated cheese in the beans and a nice bottle of becks beer, sounds good eh.....

Not this year, but I had a year when we had to share one tin of beans between 3 adults - and no toast!

Thats all Blair will give me for a Christmas present. I'm one of the people hit by his wonderful free society, it's a pity I am not included in his and Bushes glorious plan for the world.

To spice things up a bit, why not throw some curry powder, cayenne pepper, tumeric, cumin & coriander into the beans, it makes a great curry!
