Television repair?

I have a 2002 model RCA television, and about a year ago went out and makes a weird noise unless you unplug it. What could that be and how much should it cost to have repaired (is it even worth it).

RCAs are notorious for the flyback and trippler going out. It will make kinda a "clicking" noise. My husband charges $250 for it in Nashville (self-employed). Might be the problem
