I'm not sure what you're question is exactly, but technically, a dream is no longer a dream if it comes true.

dreams are for reaching for and hopes are for holding onto - it doesnt matter if they never comme true - or even if they never could come true - they are an ideal - having ideals is like having a target - without it you dont know which way to point yourself

"if you want to believe in something then believe in it - dont matter if its real or not - sometimes the most important things to believe in are things that can never come true - that good will always triumph over evil - and that love... true love .... never dies"

- paraphrased from "second hand lions" (poorly paraphrased) the originl is much better

A dream is an idea that becomes a desire. Hope is the idea that you can strive towards your dream and make it a reality. If your dream doesn't come true, it's because you haven't worked towards it long enough, or hard enough, or smart enough to achieve it. If you don't get what you want, then, ultimately, its your fault.

Psalm 62:5
Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.

Not all your hopes are the right thing for you...God knows that and is guiding you.

Acts 17:26-27

26From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. 27God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.

You need to make an effort for any hopes or dreams you may have to come true. they are not just gonna fall in your lap.

The fact that you are knowing it will never happen is where you are investing your faith which is made manifest.

Try thinking a different thought.
