My dogs get static just by walking on the carpet in my house I have never had this problem before what can I do. Open for any suggestions. You can hear my dogs coming from all the static that is on their fur.

You need to humidify you home. It's winter and the heating system is sucking the moisture out of the air. Either that or put booties on him, that is if he'll keep them on.

Take a dryer sheet and rub it all over your dogs. Not only will it remove the static, but makes them smell really good!

When my persian cats fur got static I combed him with a metal comb which helped a bit

You need a humidifier. Also after washing the dogs brush, use a conditioner on the brush or even downy, but rinse it well!!!!!!! ( If you use downy.)

check your humidity level in your house, if you dogs hair is on end your house is quite dry creating a bad enviroment for not only you but your pet,
