My husband and I are in a similar situation to your parents and we have everything we need. This is what might work for us ...
Buy them a gift certificate to a nice restaurant so they can go out for a meal. Or do a nice photo album with nostalgic pictures from the past with comments for each picture. Last year our daughters gave us gift certificates to a good massage parlour. We have also received travel gift certificates. How about tickets to the theatre if you can get them for that amount of money where you live? They would probably appreciate something thoughtful that doesn't necessarily cost much in money.

What about a gift certificate to their favorite restaurant, this would encourage them to do something together and enjoy an evening out. Kind of a date on the kids. Or if they do not have a favorite restaurant, pick a nice one you think they would enjoy. And include a nice bottle of wine to share after the dinner at home. Good luck and God bless****

How about a gift card to a hardware store. like Rona, or Home Hardware. Thats what I did for my in-laws, they have everything so I thought, they can always keep buying stuff for the house wheather it's indoor or outdoor, they can always have a gift card for a hardware store on hand. It was perfect! Or you can even get a gift card for their favorite restaurant. Hope these ideas help.

Why not do something that's free such as cleaning up their entire house and cooking a nice home cooked meal for the entire immediate family members. Just think of it as a day filled with freely giving of yourself and being surrounded by the people that love you unconditionally.

A portrait of you and your brother. A night out on the town. A motel room with room service. It would be easier if I knew more about them. Just do something romantic for them.

BRING them out to dinner on a fancy restaurant on Chrstmas eve or visit them on Christmas Day...... Nothing makes them happier than spending time with them and material things cannot compensate for the fond memories that you will be spending with them on the holiday season.....

My parents are pretty close to that same age. They currently have 1 humming bird feeder near the back patio , we are going to get them another one because they really enjoy watching the birds feed. We are also going to get them a bird book so they may identfiy the birds.
