First, take some really deep breaths. This will start to calm your nerves. Then start to mentally picture yourself doing great in Driver's Ed. Whatever that means to you. See your self doing everything easily and confidently with a big smile on your face.
See the instructor smiling at you and feel yourself doing a great job. Practice this often.
This is a technique that is proven to bring results, by focusing on what you WANT not what you fear might happen.
Hope this helps. Blessings

First of all congratulation for your marriage & secondly you still have 2 MONTHS so there is nothing to worry about. You are worried as you might not have started talking frankly with your hubby to be and you both are not that friendly with each other. In this mean time he will call you and you will start having LONG and I mean relay LONG chats about every stupid thing on this earth which will have no meaning what so ever & in between those talks you will get to know each other may be if you both stay close you will go out for some lunch or movie so you will get to know each other very well to not be soooo scared on the first night obviously he is not a monster who will eat you up or a sex starved person living in a dungeon so that he will pounce upon you and just assault you physically. Take my words he is as nervous as you are I was and I got just 35 days after my marriage was fixed to a girl I have never seen. We started talking on phone and within a few days we were so friendly with each other that we even discussed how many kids we are going to have. I know it sounds a bit funny that I was saying that I am planning to have 5-6 kids to a girl I have never even seen. As far as sex is concerned there is no compulsion that you should do it on the first night itself it’s upto both of you if you feel like doing it do it and if you don’t then there is whole life in front of you. Its just the starting of a new relationship it’s just your first day. Just sit back and relax and let time do it for you, wait for his call and let things go at a smooth pace. After that you will not need any body to advice you and remember one more thing sometime ignorance can be very very exciting & funny. Good luck & best wishes from all the members of yahoo answers. And one more important thing read very carefully. SEND US THE CARD WHEN IT IS PRINTED OR WE WILL BE VERY ANGRY.

Just relax, you will be fine. Keep focus on the road, other drivers,( defensive driving), and lights, signs, etc. don't keep staring at the speedometer, it is better to go a touch slow than it is a touch fast. Don't worry, you have a teacher. All will be well.

Remember that everyone starts out the same way. This is your first adult responsibility and it has adult consequences. ENJOY the excitement -- it will help you focus. Concentrate on learning the mechanics. Keep in mind the teacher is likely somewhat bored but this is YOUR FIRST time.

LISTEN closely to the teacher. Stay alert. KNOW WHERE THE BRAKE IS IF YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ELSE!!!!
You'll be fine. Most cars are equipped with a brake the instructor can use from the passenger seat.
You'll learn how to drive. Just really listen to your teacher.

from old episode in the Brady Bunch.
Imagine the teacher next to you sitting there in his/her underwear.

Relax, buckle up, check your reaview and side mirrors, ask teacher to buckle up and drive with CONFIDENCE.

come back on yahoo and let us know how it went, good luck!
