Amen Buddy I love to celebrate Jesus birth. My husband and I feel that Jesus is the reason for the season. God is so good.
Christmas is also a time of hope, joy and rebirth spiritually.
God bless you and may you and your family and friends have a very Merry Christmas.
Peace be with you,
Encourager4God

It means the thanking of God for the gift of Christ's birth. Although it did not happen in December according to the bible, I see no reason why we should not be allowed to commemorate this event on Dec. 25. Yes it is stolen from a pagan solstice tradition as are many of the traditions that revolve around Christmas, but I believe in thanking God everyday for Christ so what difference would it make what day I placed to celebrate it?

That is the only meaning of Christmas . I have seen an ad on T.V. where somebody asks their kids what they think is the meaning of Christmas and the kids say that it is a time for getting presents . No wonder the world is in the shape that it is !!

Well Bart Simpson thought it was the birth of Santa. For me it's the date we have chosen to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Sadly many people don't realise it's a birthday and if he turned up to blow out the candles they wouldn't know him.

To me it means a time of joy, the one day a year my family actually tries to be nive to one another, the presents are a perk, gifts given not because of the holiday, but because of the wish to make others cheerful.

How come, since He wasn't born at Christmas ?
For me Christmas means a denial of His death.
