A friend of mine asked this question, and only hypothetically asking just to see who would you say man/women has added interest, or intrigue to relationships past, and present, is it the women behind the men in these relationships that makes him appear more important? or is it a two way street?...what do you think, and why?....... these are just a few:

Marilyn Monroe and JFK.
Victoria Beckham and David Beckham.

Marilyn Monroe and JFK is not a good thing. JFK was married, it is terrible to classify that as a good thing. But I agree with the man above behind every good woman is a man checking out her ***

its behind every successful man there is a woman...JFK had his wife and she was a good spouse in public. Marilyn was married but her husband was not successful. it was because she was not that good to him.... sometimes the woman does not need to be a spouse but a sister, mother advice or a friend that is a woman. I know several good man that do not have a good woman... They are still searching for her.

That was certainly the case for Ryan Phillippe, Vince Vaughn, and Bill Clinton (to a point). However, there are plenty of men who can make it without women, and vice-versa. I'd rather spend my time improving my career instead of that of a man.

It's called stability and it works both ways. I am a better person with my husband and he is a better person with me!
I also know relationships where people are at their worst with one another and also one sided relationships.

It works both ways. My husband stands behind me and my choices etc.. and I stand behind his.
So yes I believe that it is a 2 way street.

if the man is successful, there is usually an even more successful/ambitious woman who is guiding him
the reason she does not try to aim for the success in her own right is because unfortunately it is still mainly a mans word
men tend to **** thing s up when they stop listening -look at Blair & Bush
