Be sure you go to a highly reputable and experienced tattoo artist. White is tricky and it will not look good unless properly supported with shading. A bad white pigment can also turn yellow over time or separate in the skin and look globby.
A really good quality white would be used for a highlighting effect and make that little snowflake pop beautifully if done correctly. It is also beautifully symbolic as there are no two snowflakes exactly alike just like we are unique individuals ourselves.
Have fun with it and make it special!! Google up some sample designs and then have it altered to make it your own. Be sure it is laid out on graph paper because it MUST be very symmetric. Choose your location carefully.

I see tattoos and all body modification as a person's quest to becoming 100% comfortable with the body they were born into. By all means, if you want a tattoo, go ahead and get one. All I'm saying is that you have to make sure that it's something you love and can live with, and that you go to an artist / tattooer that you can trust. In other words, do your research and make sure they do the caliber of work you would want to see on your body for the rest of your life.

I have many different tattoos. i feel a snowflake on your hip would be classy and sexy. Yes get it today. Never ever get someones name tattooed on your body, when that person turns out to be a jerk ..you are stuck with that on your body. Good luck.

I would think about it before you do it.
After I had my son, my friend and I decided to get a tattoo on our hips. It was a spur of the moment type of thing, I never imagined I would have more children.
Several years later, I got pregnant with my daughter. I looked like I had a beach ball under my shirt. It ended up streching my tattoo out. My son and husband now refer to my sun as my spider.
So my advice is to rethink the hip location if you do want a tattoo. You never know how your skin will strech if you have children or once you are old.

Any days a good day for a tattoo!!!! btw...white is a very tricky color and sometimes doesn't turn out. I have white from the prism from dark side of the moon....and the white didn't turn out the first time so I had to get it redone about three times.....my skin was just not likin it. Anyways, have fun......

Yeah, just walk into the tattoo parlor, pick something off the wall, and congratulations! You'll have the same tattoo as about a million other people.

do what u want its ur body hun so dont listen to ppl when they say dont do it u will regret it later on in life ...coz life is short u neva no when u will die so just go and do it and ull have a cute little snow flake on ur hip to show offf :)

You should get a tattoo if thats what you want its your body so the desion is totaly up to you! If u do deside to get it done let me know :D
