Come on you people as I've mention it happen at the food outlet which it restaurant. It’s normal to eat chips or sandwich or popcorns or what so ever with hands. Use your common sense please. What I meant was solid food which is rice, noodle, you know a proper meal not those junk food.

Understand since long long time ago people eat using their hand. But now it the 21st century. If so why do people invent spoon or fork? Yes it culture but you can do that at home but not public places. It seems that you don’t have table manners.

For those of you who are not satisfy with my question you need not answer for the sake of getting points and be mad about this question

OH please.

People ate with their hands for thousands of years before someone decided to stab the meat with a stick.

Would you eat a hamburger with a knife and fork?

How about fried chicken?

Pizza?

I eat salads with my hands because I prefer them without dressing and mostly comprised of celery and carrot sticks, broccoli clusters and other "handy" items.

If someone's "manners" offend you, I recommend a policy of "Just Don't Look."

Coming from a fully-functional human's point of view, the question should be "why people use fork and spoons to eat??"

But really, its just their culture! When the fork and spoon were not yet invented, people used their hands. Its just instinct. And after the fork and spoon came about, people still continue to use their hands as it is like preserving their culture and tradition. And truthfully, its easier to eat with your hands than with anything else. Just that with science and tecnology, people now know how dirty it really is! But if you've taken measures to keep your hands clean before eating...I don't see why eating with your hands is that questionable.

No, I am the opposite of you. I'm left handed but hold my fork in my left hand and knife in my right. I put this down to the fact that when I was in primary school I was belted in front of the class for writing with my left hand so for years tried to use my right. It didn't work as I still write with my left hand but do lots of other things the right handed way.

Why use "tools" to eat, when you do not need to?

Eating with hands is TOTALLY natural - assuming someone washes their hands, what in creation is the problem.

Being realistic, how do you think your food is prepared? People use their hands for that too - so why not eat with hands too if practical.

Do you use a fork to eat sandwhiches / crisps / pop corn / roll and butter ?

In some cultures people eat with their left hands. No wrong or right, just their cultures. If it bothers you, don't go to such outlets.

That's not nasty. It's culture. In fact people eating with forks make their food so "nasty" so nasty that they dont' want to touch it!

Don't watch. If it is their culture why do you care. I am sure that we have things that we do that others don't particularly care for. Get over it.
