find a new guy. He dated your friend and he called you names? Why exactly are we thinking about asking him out??? There are many - trust me - many guys out there to date and they haven't dated your friend or will they call you out of your name.

NOOO! Find a new guy and move on with your life. If your best friend just broke up with him, give her some time to get over him. Plus, if he called you a *****, I'd find a new guy.

He like you. Let him come and woe you. He should. You on the other hand should wait for him rather than taking the move. That will hurt your best friend even more.

Oh man.... getting with your best friend's ex isn't a good idea.....especially if they just broke up!

But then again...it depends on how much you want it and how much you care about your friend....... Also, it depends on how big of a skank you are.

normally there is a six month waiting period before dating your friends ex. if she doesn't mind then this is a waiver of the six month waiting period and you can date him openly. unless she said go for it when she really meant 'you crack whore, what do you want him for ...'. in that case never date him.

If he calls you names, that should be an indication of that this relationship could lead to, if you hook up with him. I'd stay clear of him.
