You've got the same problem that many people have. The system files are corrupted. This means, first of all HOLD THE POWER button 5 secs. It will shut off. Make sure that you wait 1 minute and turn your system on.
Go to My Computer --> Right click DRIVE C
Properties will be at the end, just scroll and select it.
You will then see DISK CLEANUP. It will be loading for like 1-2 minutes and then TICK all the boxes and press OK. Will take 1-2 minutes to finish and when it's done go to Tools on that Page again. If you closed it, right click again DRIVE C - Properties.
Press Tools and Scandisk. Run it and then select Defrag on that same Tools page...
Defrag will take long time 30min - 2hours depends on your system.
Run antivirus program (update the latest viruses)
You're GOOD TO GO
Good luck
Do this proccess once in a while

try turning off the power.{the button.} I know this isn't suppose to be done, but I have gone so far as to shut mine down by turning off the power on the surge protector.
