The Navy's new digital cammies are BDU's. Battle Dress Uniform. Think the Army is moving away from that but not sure.

BDU's are Battle Dress Uniforms . And unless I'm mistaken, that abbreviation came into use in the early 1980's . I was in the military then and had never heard our uniforms addressed that way until then .
