Just tell them the truth. In the end, they will find out anyway. Better to get it over with.
I don't know how old you are, but maybe you might want to do it AFTER Christmas, though....good luck.

Have you thought about moving to the Arctic?
Seriously.....be honest and take your lumps... and yeah, they'll be pissed ...but start studying and do better next time.
Life is full of challenges and your character will determine whether you lie and deceive your parents or if you face up to your problem with honesty and accept the consequences of your actions and change your ways and overcome your obstacles with determination and hard work.
Math class is a relatively small challenge compared to what life has in store for you further down the road. Handle this challenge as an adult and even though you may be grounded....your parents will respect you for how you handled this.
You CAN turn this negative into a positive if you try. Good luck with this.....and in life.

This seems bad right now, but try and look at the big picture. Eventually your parents will find out, and if you hide your grade, your issue with them will become not only about the bad grade, but about your lack of honesty. The absolte best thing to do is to be courageous and bring them the grade. BUT - before you do this, make a plan or a list of things you can do to improve your grade...like ask them for a help, or for a tutor, or ask your teacher if you can spend some time (10/15min.) each day working w/ them or on some workbook pages to help you out. The bottom line is that your parents may be mad about the grade, but they will have respect for your courage and honesty in taking responsibility for your grade. Best of luck....you can do it :)

Being grounded should be the least of your worries. I'd be alot more concerned about seriously studying to get my grades up so I can get a good job. Ask your parents for help. They'll appreciate your honesty and your mature attitude. They probably had their share of bad grades once! But don't approach them with the "I'm going to work my butt off to get this grade up" story and then not really do it!

what grade are you in? you will have to let them know first before the teacher does. it is better to let them know and they may can get you some help...if the teacher informs them, they will be angry and scold you and that wil not help. if you are goofing off in class i feel sorry for your behind! do the math! i wish you well.

Show them but promise that next time you will try much much harder and get a much better result. Stick to this and they will be happy and you will feel better about yourself too. Good luck!

Are your parents paying for school? You better let them know. Maybe they can help with tutoring.
